Ludovico Einaudi is the most-streamed classical artist in the world with around nine billion streams a year at the last count. Einaudi shows sell out within a couple of hours; this November he will play two nights at the London Palladium and five at the Royal Albert Hall, the longest ever run by a piano player headlining the venue.
His concerts are an immersive experience for everyone, his live performance takes the audience on a kind of guided musical meditation, and concerts often end in celebration and spontaneous applause. “You can be driven to a climax without even expecting it,” Einaudi explains. “The end of the shows can be very wild!” Ludovico Einaudi’s highly anticipated new album The Summer Portraits is set for release on 31 January 2025.
