Josh Tillman celebrates his sixth Father John Misty album Mahashmashana, produced by himself and Drew Erickson; executive produced by Jonathan Wilson. Mahashmashanawas released on 22nd November via Bella Union (UK) and Sub Pop for the rest of the world. Father John Misty went on to play a sold-out show at Hammersmith Apollo in early 2023 before returning just a couple of months later to perform the songs of Scott Walker at the Barbican accompanied by Jules Buckley and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. During the Summer he returned to London to perform in Hyde Park as special guest to Lana Del Ray.
